Hello, I’m Leo, an experienced and passionate piano teacher committed to nurturing the musical talents of my students. I have experience with teaching for over 4 years and have helped guide highly fundamentally sound, and expressive young pianists. As a primary piano student at the prestigious Eastman School of Music, I have received specialized training in piano performance, equipping me with the expertise to guide young students. Throughout my piano career, I have won several international competitions (Judge’s Award at American Protege, USIDPC first place), along with countless awards at local and domestic competitions. I received my high school music diploma in my sophomore year of high school and spent the last four years honing in on detail, excellence, and exciting new repertoires. In addition to my love for music, I am a dual BS degree student majoring with a B.S in Applied Mathematics and a B.S. in Business Information Systems, along with a minor in Computer Science and Music. In addition to my studies, I also participated as an NCAA College Football athlete, fostering a well-rounded approach to my education and personal growth. In 2023, I was the only undergraduate at the University of Rochester selected as a primary piano student at the Eastman School of Music. Throughout my last year studying at a music conservatory among world-class pianists, I have learned so many new things about music that I have never thought about before. The piano plays an essential part in my life. It is the expression of my soul, the healing of my wounds, and the most wonderful pastime activity. I hope to be able to spread this love and passion among my students and develop each one as a disciplined, and excellent pianist.
